About Me
I am a PhD student in Computer Science and Statistics at Università Bocconi.
I completed my BS-MS dual degree at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal.
My research lies at the intersection of statistical mechanics, information theory, machine learning, and applied mathematics. I am particularly interested in understanding learning and inference in high-dimensional systems using tools from statistical physics and probability.
Research Interests
- Statistical mechanics of learning and inference
- High-dimensional statistical inference
- Information theory
- Phase transitions in machine-learning models
Current Research
My master's thesis studied symmetric and non-symmetric matrix denoising with non-rotational priors by combining replica theory and HCIZ integrals. Prior to this, I have also studied the phase transitions in the binary symmetric perceptron in the teacher-student settings.
You can find my publications, conference participation, and summer-school activities on the Publications & Talks page.
